Every legislative session, UT’s communications focus on promoting the school’s positive impact to lawmakers and taxpayers that control the school funding. They wanted to amplify their impact and secure funding during the legislative session. UT needed help discovering the most effective targeting strategies and creative channels, maximizing ad dollars, and ensuring their message reached and engaged key audiences, including lawmakers and taxpayers who influence funding decisions.
We created a media plan focused on social, that reaches out to legislators, staffers, and alumni at large with messages about the school’s scientific progress (leading in the COVID vaccine!) and community impact.
Texas hit its funding goals, as their funding was approved as planned. Our team delivered millions of impressions, but importantly specific impressions with the decision makers involved.
