Cemvita, an innovative, clean energy solution leader, reached out to us for a complete brand refresh, which would include a revision to the name and logo, a reassessment and evolution of their brand and product positioning, and a completely new website that modernized their brand and reprioritized their messaging and content strategy. The challenge included achieving all this while preserving the heart and soul of their brand identity.
We began the solutioning process by engaging their ownership and senior management in a series of interactive brand messaging and identity workshops that would initiate questionnaires, competitive analysis, conversations, exercises and response summaries in order to reassess the current inventory of their brand to date. The cumulative results would inform and inspire the directions for the refresh and unite stakeholders around a shared vision going forward. The creative benefitted from this process, modernizing their logo shape, wordmark, color scheme, graphic elements and visual style. We crafted their key messaging and used it to rewrite and reorganize their website copy and content. We restructured and organized the website experience to be more user friendly, while also being more effective at highlighting their core values, capabilities, objectives and products.
The results were truly refreshing. The new logo modernized the brand better positioning it in the science and technology space. The revised color scheme was thoughtfully applied to recognize the brand story and origins while dually becoming a device for highlighting and segmenting their evolving products and services. The new messaging came alive throughout the site and with the carefully curated videos and still images their true story was finally, and clearly being told.
