Sangfroid Marketing Studio is an entrepreneurial agency working in the startup and edtech space. (We’re a startup too!) We focus on building digital marketing funnels through paid search and social advertising, automated lead nurturing, and quality content -- empowering our clients to succeed through smart, validated strategies. We look to add as much value as possible, and develop campaigns fast so that we can fail quickly and try again.
We are looking for an Account Executive to be the client POC for a small portfolio of brands, including an edtech startup and a technology company here in Austin. This is a collaborative leadership role that involves understanding and caring deeply about the client’s goals, recommending marketing strategy, and carrying that strategy out through project management and collaboration with designers, copywriters, and media professionals.
Client communication: Lead Sangfroid’s relationship with your clients on Slack, email, and through regular meetings. Understand the client’s goals and recommended strategy.
Creative project management: Spec and structure campaigns, and task team members with necessary tasks in their department - such as designing graphics or writing a case study.
Team support: Fill in where needed on client service, with tasks such as implementing marketing automation and writing social and search ad copy.
Quality assurance: The fit and finish of the materials we deliver to our clients and broadcast on their behalf ultimately rests with you. Work with team members to improve copy, design, and technical results.
Reporting: Monitor and explain marketing results. Use results to improve and iterate on campaigns and strategy.
Agency experience: This position is best-suited for someone with 2 or more years experience in a marketing, advertising, or PR agency. Client-facing experience is required.
Broad marketing experience: Understanding of content marketing, paid social and search advertising, email marketing, and SEO. Tools include: Hubspot, Facebook Ads, Google Ads.
Technical marketing know-how: Familiarity with analytics and marketing automation - our key differentiator. Tools include: Google Analytics, Data Studio, Zapier.
Eye for design: Hard to teach, fatal to lack. Ability and experience in speccing, proofing, and rejecting ad creative.
Ear for copy: Ability to proof and improve copy for clarity and relevance to audience, while being sympathetic to platform and context.
Project management experience: Ability to inspire a team around the client’s goal. Build campaigns and ensure deadlines are met in Asana, Slack, and Google Calendar.
